Three Bars
Three Bars has had the greatest impact on the quarter horse breed of any horse in history.   Three Bars left his mark in racing, halter, cutting and other arena perfomance events.
King P234 was one of the quarter horse industry's cornerstones  His conformation set the standard for quarter horse judging for more than a decade.  We have found that our horses with King bloodlines are extremely
intelligent and have excellent dispositions in addition to being very cowy and athletic.

Leo was known as a speed horse early and then went on to be one of the greatest broodmare sires in the history of the AQHA. Both his sons and daughters excelled on the track and in the show ring.  Most of our horses tgo back to Leo through the bloodlines of Leo Maudie (AAA Supreme Champion) or through Keleo Bailey.
King  P234
Coureur was a 1975 gray stallion by Alamitos Bar AAAT son of Three Bars.  He was out of an own daughter of Bart BS, the 1951 Champion quarter running stallion.  Besides Three Bars his other grandparents were AAA or AA.  We used Coureur for ranch work, barrels and reining.  Many of our good mares were sired by him.
Leo, a Leading Broodmare Sire
Leo Shanty, a 1974 chestnut stallion sired by Leo Maudie, AAA Supreme Champion son of Leo, was 1 of our first studs.  His dam, Leota Star, was a foundation mare.  We used Shanty  for ranch work and arena events(barrels, poles & roping.)
Another Leo grandson that we used as a sire was Good Turk, a 1974 chestnut son of Keleo Bailey.  Keleo Bailey, a grandson of Gold King Bailey, was AA, ROM, with points in racing, reining & cutting.  Besides Leo, Turk's pedigree shows King, Oklahoma Star, Cowboy, Peppy & Red Dog.
Chieflika ROM is the grandsire of Hatcreek Bailey, our black stallion.  Chieflika was used mainly as a rodeo horse in the 1960s & early 1970s and did not sire many foals.  He competed in barrel racing, pole bending, calf roping, steer wrestling & cutting in competition in professional rodeo, AQHA shows, amateur rodeo  & high school rodeo.  Jack & Betty Smeenk competed on him in the RCA ( which later became the PRCA) and GRA (which later became the WPRA).  He later became the high school rodeo horse for their children taking them to numerous championships including SDHSRA all around.
